Kingspan Kooltherm

Kingspan Kooltherm offers a wide range of advanced thermal insulation boards suitable for various floor, roof and wall applications in residential and commercial settings. 

The Kooltherm range features a fibre-free core and low-emissivity foil facings. This allows the boards to be incredibly thin while simultaneously offering premium performance, contributing to achieving the specific U-value required in UK building regulations.

Kooltherm K103 Floorboard

Kingspan Kooltherm K103 is a premium performance lower-lambda rigid thermoset phenolic insulation. It's one of the highest performing insulation products in a floor application, meaning although more expensive, allows the user to use a thinner thickness than other floor products and achieve the same u value.

• Applications: Solid concrete or suspended timber flooring. It's particularly suitable for underfloor heating systems.

Kooltherm K106 Cavity Board (Full-fill)

Kingspan Kooltherm K106 Cavity Board is a premium performance insulation choice for full-fill cavity wall applications. It features a water-tight, vapour-open polypropylene fleece outer facing protection of the building against moisture. It is used in applications where you need to meet target U-values in minimal thickness.

Kooltherm K107 Pitched Roof Board

Kingspan Kooltherm K107 Pitched Roof Board is an incredibly thin yet premium-performance insulation board. It is perfect for use in loft renovations as it can be simply retrofitted, is resistant to sagging, and features low–emissivity foil facings to reduce heat loss.

• Applications: Tiled or slated pitched roofs, dwarf walls, attic floors, dormer windows, flat ceilings. They are also ideal for attic/loft renovations.

Kooltherm K108 Cavity Board (Partial-fill)

Kingspan Kooltherm K108 is a premium performance insulation board used in partial fill cavity wall applications. It's lightweight, easy to install, and features a thin profile that allows more natural daylight into your building.

• Size: 450mm x 1200mm

Kooltherm K118 Insulated Plasterboard

Kingspan K118 is a premium-performance yet incredibly thin insulation board ideal for internal wall applications looking to retain as much internal space as possible. It combines insulation, drylining, and vapour control into one board, which makes it ideal for buildings where outside insulation is not an option. 

• Applications: Mechanically fixed and adhesively bonded insulated dry lining. It can be used with solid stonework and brickwork, with or without existing lining. 
• Size: 1200mm x 2400mm
• Thickness: 25 - 80 mm (excluding 12.5 mm plasterboard component)
• R-Value: 0.019 W/mK 

Kooltherm K5 External Wall Board

Kingspan Kooltherm K118 offers premium performance and is ideal for insulating masonry walls and buildings where inside insulation is not an option. It's extremely thin and lightweight, easy to install, and can be retrofitted to existing properties without disrupting occupants. 

• Applications: External masonry walls behind traditional and lightweight polymer-modified renders.
• Size: 600mm - 1200mm

Kooltherm K110 PLUS Soffit Board

Like the regular K110, the Kingspan Kooltherm K110 PLUS is used when a thin structural ceiling needs to be created. The difference between the two is that the PLUS has an impact-resistant building board attached to it and is used when an improved finish is required.
