Keep your home warm with Celotex Insulation Boards
Celotex is a leading UK insulation manufacturer and offers a variety of insulation products including high-performing PIR insulation boards used in both commercial and residential applications, including floors, walls, ceilings and roofs.
All Celotex insulation boards are high performing in overcoming heat loss and thermal bridging; most boards feature a low-emissivity foil facing, apart from PL4000, which is made by combining plasterboard and PIR insulation.
They achieve the required U-value, meet all UK building regulations, are BBA-certified and have achieved at least an ‘A’ rating on the BRE Green Guide, which means they’re an eco-friendly solution.
Like most insulation boards, Celotex is fairly easy to install providing you have some DIY experience. If you're unfamiliar with the Celotex range, please see our size and application breakdown below:

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Celotex the best insulation?
Is Celotex the best insulation?
Celotex is a top choice for insulation due to its excellent thermal efficiency, with products reflecting over 90% of radiant energy. It excels in managing heat loss, especially in high moisture environments. While it is highly effective, the best insulation depends on your specific needs, building type, and budget. For many applications, its combination of performance and durability makes it a leading option.
What is the difference between Celotex and Kingspan?
What is the difference between Celotex and Kingspan?
Celotex and Kingspan are leading insulation brands, but they differ in their offerings. Celotex specialises in PIR (polyisocyanurate) insulation boards, known for excellent thermal performance and moisture resistance. Kingspan, on the other hand, offers both PIR and phenolic insulation. Their Kooltherm range, made from phenolic foam, provides superior thermal performance and fire resistance, while their Therma range is similar to Celotex's PIR boards. The choice between them depends on your specific needs, such as thermal efficiency, fire safety, and budget.
Are Celotex insulation boards easy to install?
Are Celotex insulation boards easy to install?
Celotex boards are lightweight and rigid, which makes it very easy to install them. Due to the size and thickness of the range, you should be able to find a Celotex board made to fit your specific measurements; if you can’t, they can be cut down using an insulation saw.
Is Celotex insulation eco-friendly?
Is Celotex insulation eco-friendly?
Celotex is an eco-friendly insulation choice which has achieved at least an ‘A’ BRE Green Guide energy rating, with the PL4000 line achieving an A+ rating. It’s also made by mixing blowing agents which acquire zero ozone depletion potential (zero ODP) and a low global warming potential.
